8- Day Cruise "A": Isabela, Fernandina & Central Islands

Day 1 Sat: 

am:Baltra Island: Arrival in Baltra airport and transfer to the boat. Briefing onboard about the boat and the island.

pm:Santiago Island: Sullivan Bay

Day 2 Sun:

am:Isabela – Vicente Roca Point: The remnants of an ancient volcano form two turquoise coves with a bay protected from ocean swells.

pm:Fernandina – Espinosa Point: A narrow stretch of land where hundreds of marine iguanas gather largely on black lava rocks.

Day 3 Mon:

am:Isabela – Tagus Cove: An opportunity to see penguins as well as marine iguanas, Sally Lightfoot crabs and sea lions.

pm:Isabela – Urbina Bay: Its waters are a good place to see turtles and rays. Ashore you’ll find a short trail leading to a coral reef.

Day 4 Tue:

am:Isabela – Elizabeth Bay: As you enter the bay, hawks soar overhead and schools of fish can be seen swimming beneath the surface.

pm:Isabela – Moreno Point: Beautiful rocky shores where penguins and shore birds, including blue herons, are usually spotted.

Day 5 Tue:

am:Santa Cruz – Charles Darwin Station: An organization that provides scientific assistance to ensure the proper preservation of the Galápagos.

pm:Santa Cruz – Highlands: The highlands are located in the northern part of the island and can reach elevations up to 1500 mt.

Day 6 Thu:

am:Santa Fe Island: A volcanic uplift that hosts a forest of Opuntia and Palo Santo. Endemic land iguanas are often seen.

pm:South Plaza Island: South Plaza has one of the largest populations of land iguanas in the Galápagos.

Day 7 Fri:

am:Floreana – Post Office Bay: A white-sand beach where in the past sailors used to leave and receive their letters in a barrel.

pm:Floreana – Cormorant Point: Cormorant Point offers a trail overlooking a saltwater lagoon that is a favorite of flamingos.

Floreana – Devil’s Crown: Arguably the best snorkelling site in the islands, Devil’s Crown boasts an amazing variety of marine life.

Day 8 Fri:

am:San Cristobal – Interpretation Center: A series of interactive exhibits providing information about the history and biodiversity of the Galápagos.

 

San Cristobal – La Galapaguera: Learn about the Giant Tortoise breeding program established by the National Park.

Transfer to San Cristobal Airport

8- Day Cruise "B": Central Islands & Genovesa Islands

Day 1 Sat: 

am:San Cristobal Island: Arrival in airport and transfer to the boat. Briefing onboard about the boat and the island.pm:San Cristobal – Lobos Island: This small island is named after the sea lions that rest and play on its rocky shores.

San Cristobal – Kicker Rock: The island is comprised of two rocks which jut out of the ocean and is home to a large colony of sea birds

Day 2 Sun:

am:San Cristobal – Pitt Point: Here there are endemic species such as lava lizards and red-footed boobies.

pm:San Cristobal – Witch Hill: A beautiful white-sand beach full of pelicans, blue-footed boobies, sea lions and marine iguanas.

Day 3 Mon:

am:Española – Suárez Point: Is one of the most outstanding wildlife areas of the archipelago.

pm:Española – Gardner Bay: Gardner Bay has a magnificent beach with turquoise waters. The bay is home of a large colony of sea lions.

Española – Osborn Islet: This small island is a marine visit where you can enjoy fantastic snorkeling and swimming.

Day 4 Tue:

am:Santa Cruz – Bachas Beach: Has beautiful green and blue waters that contrast along the surf of the black lava shores.

pm:Bartholomew – Island: This island is well known for its incredible remnants of volcano cones and distinct terrain such as Pinnacle Rock.

Day 5 Wed:

am:Rabida – Island: This visitor site is quite different from others as it has a very distinct and red fine gravel beach due to the iron content.

pm:Santiago – Puerto Egas: Puerto Egas, with its black sand beaches, was the site of small salt mining industry in the 1960s.

Day 6 Sat: 

am:Genovesa – Darwin Bay: A coral beach where a 750 mt. trail takes you through more seabird colonies.

pm:Genovesa – Prince Phillip’s Steps: An extraordinary, steep path leads through a seabird colony full of life, up to cliffs that are 25m high.

Day 7 Fri: 

am:Mosquera Islet: This was the result of volcanic uprising making the islet only 160 meters across at its narrowest width.

pm:Santa Cruz – Highlands: The highlands are located in the northern part of the island and can reach elevations up to 1500 mt.

Day 8 Sat: 

am:North Seymour Island: Explore the rocky coast, passing colonies of blue-footed boobies and magnificent frigatebirds.

Transfer to the Baltra Airport

 

 

5- Day Cruise: Genovesa & Islands Central Islands

Day 1 Tue:

am:Baltra Island: Arrival to the airport and transfer to Santa Cruz to visit the highlands before boarding. Dress appropriately for a hike.

pm:Bartholomew – Island: This island is well known for its incredible remnants of volcano cones and distinct terrain such as Pinnacle Rock.

Day 2 Wed:
